Autoimmune disease
A comprehensive article by renown Functional Medicine practitioner Chris Kresser who I trained with. Lots of good links to other articles too. We work with many of these protocols in clinic here and have seen considerable improvements in quality of life for many patients. However, he doesn’t mention Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue, which I also consider to be a common autoimmune disease. What is Autoimmune Disease?

Lyme Disease
Lyme disease and it’s co-infections is now becoming of significant concern in the UK and is very often misdiagnosed especially if it’s historic. It can become a major trigger for body-wide inflammation and the development of numerous autoimmune diseases.
I have trained with The Metabolic Healing Institute (Michael McEvoy and Shawn Bean) in the USA one of the leading specialists in this field who take an integrative functional medicine approach. Their track record is impressive in this field where treatment protocols are developing very rapidly.
The article written below by Dr Josh Axe is one of the most accessible I have seen so I have included it here. If you feel you may be suffering from Lyme, mold or one of the co-infections feel free to get in touch.

Meditation
I have meditated on and off for most probably 30 years, it tends to go in phases and I can honestly say it has definately been an important tool in my personal development. I personally love the Headspace app especially as it tells me how many minutes I have clocked up, gives me thoughts for the day, great words of wisdom and regular guided meditations to send me back to sleep when needed. I also love the cartoons. Meditation made fun and easy, and oh I just love his voice!!!
